DESCRIPTION:**REGISTRATION CLOSES ON TUESDAY 3/5/2024 AT 5PM**\n\nStudents 
 must attend both days to receive their training card. Lunch is provided fo
 r all students that register (provided the 1st day only).\n\nDates:\n\nThu
 rsday March 7th\, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm\n\nFriday March 8th\, 8:00 am – 11
 :00 am\n\nOSHA 10-Hour for Construction Training is offered at Safety Cons
 ultants USA’s Training Center in Atlanta.  Training materials are inclu
 ded in the cost of the course.  Students must enroll and participate in D
 ay 1 &amp\; 2 of the class to receive a training card. Students must speak
  and understand English to register for this class.  If you have students
  that require training in Spanish\, please check when we will offer this O
 pen Enrollment class in the future.\n\nOSHA 10-Hour for Construction:\nThi
 s course covers 6 hours of the following mandatory topics:\n\n– Introduc
 tion to OSHA - Mandatory 1 hour\n– Walking Working Surfaces - Mandatory 
 1 hour\n– Exit Routes\, EAP\, Fire Prevention - Mandatory 1 hour\n– El
 ectrical Safety - Mandatory 1 hour\n– Personal Protective Equipment (PPE
 ) - Mandatory 1 hour\n– HAZCOM - Mandatory 1 hour\n\nThe course also inc
 ludes 2 hours of the following elective topics:\n\n– Hazardous Materials
 \n– Machine Guarding\n– Materials Handling\, Storage\, Use and Disposa
 l\n– Introduction to Industrial Hygiene\n– Hand and Power Tool Safety\
 n– Blood Borne Pathogens\n– Ergonomics\n– Safety and Health Programs
 \n– Fall Protection\n\nAn additional 2 hours of electives from the above
  (or expand on topics) will be selected at the discretion of the trainer.
   The minimum length of any one topic is 30 minutes.\n*Courses may not ex
 ceed 7 1/2 hours per day. A ten minute break is mandatory every 2 hours. A
  30 minute lunch is required and may not be counted as course participatio
 n time.
