 ther and attendance is required at all 4 sessions to receive an outreach t
 raining card.\n\nOSHA 30-Hour for Construction Training is offered at Safe
 ty Consultants USA's Training Center in Atlanta.  Training materials are 
 included in the cost of the course.  Students must enroll and participate
  in Days 1\, 2\, 3\, &amp\; 4 of the class to receive training card. Stude
 nts must speak and understand English to register for this class.\n\nThis 
 course covers 14 hours of the following mandatory topics:\n\n 	Introductio
 n to OSHA – 1 hour\n 	Managing Safety and Health – 2 hours\n 	OSHA Foc
 us Four Hazards – 6 hours\n 	Falls (minimum 1 hour 30 minutes)\n 	Electr
 ocution - 1 hour\n 	Struck-by (e.g. falling objects\, trucks\, cranes) - 3
 0 mins\n 	Caught-In or Between (e.g. trench hazards\, equipment) - 1 hour\
 n 	Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment – 2 hours\n 	Health Haza
 rds in Construction – 2 hours\n 	Stairways and Ladders – 1 hour\n\nThe
  course also includes 12 hours of the following elective topics:\n\n 	Conc
 rete and Masonry Construction\n 	Confined Space Entry\n 	Cranes\, Derricks
 \, Hoists\, Elevators and Conveyors\n 	Ergonomics\n 	Excavations\n 	Fire P
 rotection and Prevention\n 	Materials Handling\, Storage\, Use and Disposa
 l\n 	Motor Vehicles\, Mechanized Equipment and Marine Operations\; Rollove
 r Protective Structures and Overhead Protection\; and Signs\, Signals and 
 Barricades\n 	Powered Industrial Vehicles\n 	Safety and Health Programs\n 
 	Scaffolds\n 	Steel Erection\n 	Tools – Hand and Power\n 	Welding and Cu
 tting\n 	Foundations for Safety Leadership (minimum 2.5 hours)\n\nAn addit
 ional 4 hours of electives will be selected at the discretion of the train
 er.  The minimum length of any one topic is 30 minutes.\n\n*Courses may n
 ot exceed 7 1/2 hours per day. A 10 minute break is mandatory every 2 hour
 s. A 30 minute lunch is required &amp\; may not be counted as course parti
