 ased together and attendance is required at all 4 sessions to receive an o
 utreach training card.\n\nOSHA 30-Hour for Construction Training is offere
 d at Safety Consultants USA's Training Center in Atlanta.  Training mater
 ials are included in the cost of the course.  Students must enroll and pa
 rticipate in Days 1\, 2\, 3\, &amp\; 4 of the class to receive training ca
 rd. Students must speak and understand English to register for this class.
 \n\nThis course covers 14 hours of the following mandatory topics:\n\n 	In
 troduction to OSHA – 1 hour\n 	Managing Safety and Health – 2 hours\n 
 	OSHA Focus Four Hazards – 6 hours\n 	Falls (minimum 1 hour 30 minutes)\
 n 	Electrocution - 1 hour\n 	Struck-by (e.g. falling objects\, trucks\, cr
 anes) - 30 mins\n 	Caught-In or Between (e.g. trench hazards\, equipment) 
 - 1 hour\n 	Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment – 2 hours\n 	He
 alth Hazards in Construction – 2 hours\n 	Stairways and Ladders – 1 ho
 ur\n\nThe course also includes 12 hours of the following elective topics:\
 n\n 	Concrete and Masonry Construction\n 	Confined Space Entry\n 	Cranes\,
  Derricks\, Hoists\, Elevators and Conveyors\n 	Ergonomics\n 	Excavations\
 n 	Fire Protection and Prevention\n 	Materials Handling\, Storage\, Use an
 d Disposal\n 	Motor Vehicles\, Mechanized Equipment and Marine Operations\
 ; Rollover Protective Structures and Overhead Protection\; and Signs\, Sig
 nals and Barricades\n 	Powered Industrial Vehicles\n 	Safety and Health Pr
 ograms\n 	Scaffolds\n 	Steel Erection\n 	Tools – Hand and Power\n 	Weldi
 ng and Cutting\n 	Foundations for Safety Leadership (minimum 2.5 hours)\n\
 nAn additional 4 hours of electives will be selected at the discretion of 
 the trainer.  The minimum length of any one topic is 30 minutes.\n\n*Cour
 ses may not exceed 7 1/2 hours per day. A 10 minute break is mandatory eve
 ry 2 hours. A 30 minute lunch is required &amp\; may not be counted as cou
 rse participation time.
