Safety Consultants USA is pleased to announce Jorge Zazueta, CSP is a graduate of the ABC of Georgia 2023 Future Leaders
Kate Badey, Safety Consultants USA President and CEO nominated Jorge Zazueta as one of the ABC of Georgia 2023 Future Leaders. He was selected to be among a group of about 55 other construction professionals to complete a nine month leadership program. He successfully completed the program in November 2023.
Through monthly leadership classes and peer interaction, the Future Leaders program helps develop individuals in the areas of leadership, communication, team building, decision-making, conflict resolution, people skills and other key competencies. This program also serves as an opportunity for future leaders to make connections with other rising leaders in the construction industry.
Zazueta said the most challenging part of the program was becoming more self-aware of his personality traits and how to best use them in a leadership role When asked about his top takeaways from this nine month commitment, Zazueta shared, “I absolutely experienced personal growth. In addition to improving my self-awareness, I honed my skills to understand other people’s perspectives because great leaders listen first.”
Because of the coursework and peer interaction, he believes his communication with his Safety Consultants USA peers, as well as clients, has already been enhanced. “Working to resolve and improve employee safety has always been my focus. But now, I’m more confident and able to listen to understand different perspectives to ensure we achieve the common goals.”
Zazueta highly recommends this program to other safety professionals who support the construction industry. He said, “I live by a simple philosophy. If you aren’t growing, you’re dying. Personal growth is essential for everyone who wants to challenge themselves and achieve more in both their personal and professional lives.”

Nominations for the ABC of Georgia 2024 Future Leaders Program is now open. Space is limited to 56 students to ensure a positive and impactful learning environment. The deadline to apply is February 12, 2024.
