Stephen Cartas, CSHO, SHEP, Safety Consultant
After serving in the Air Force, Stephen transitioned to the Air Force Reserve, where he started his safety career by enforcing and writing AFOSH standards in 2012. His civilian career has included responsibilities as an occupational health and safety consultant, safety director, and safety manager. As a Safety Advisor for Safety Consultants USA, he uses his extensive experience to provide our clients with employee safety training and safety consulting to create a culture of safety.

In 2009, Stephen joined the United States Air Force as an Armament Systems Technician loading B-52/F-16s. Stephen completed three combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Freedom Sentinel, and Inherit Resolve.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys hockey and volunteers at his Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, 5074. Stephen earned his Eagle Scout in 2008 and has dedicated over 500 service hours to the VFW Post 5074 as the Scouting Liaison. He also serves as their Scouting Chairman since May 2021. Stephen is also responsible for flag retirements for his Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
